Naturally, The Comedy Awards are going to have a lot of comedy, with living legends like Jon Stewart, Tina Fey and Louis CK in attendance. But if there's one thing that could make the night even better, it's music. And there's going to be plenty.
Having already proven themselves to be some of the comedy world's best musical friends on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Grammy-winners The Roots will be playing throughout the show as The Comedy Awards official house band.
And, for the first time live, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer of The Lonely Island will perform "I Just Had Sex" with special guest Akon. Here's the song's original digital short:
The first annual Comedy Awards will tape at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom this Saturday, March 26.
